The Cryogenic Institute of New England offers a full range of cryogenic processing services including NitroFreeze® cryogenic treatment of metal for stress relief, increased resistance to wear, and dimensional stability; cryogenic deflashing for molded plastic, silicone, rubber, and die cast parts; cryogenic deburring of machined plastic, metal, and composite parts; cryogenic material separation for recovery and waste stream separation; thermal cycling for military and aerospace applications; shrink fitting for tight tolerance parts; and environmentally safe dry ice blasting (or CO2 cleaning). We have processed parts at temperatures as low as 15K(-420°F/-230°C) and have performed critical operations for NASA, US Army, US Air Force, etc. Our cryogenic deburring and deflashing service efficiently and cost effectively removes unwanted machine burrs or mold flash from parts, especially for our many medical customers.
