Baier has been manufacturing watertight hatches since 1947. The original hatches were designed by Ludwig Baier for the Army Corps of Engineers. The Baier Hatch meets the standards of the US Coast Guard, the ABS, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Canadian Dept of Transport. All Baier Hatches are available in cast aluminum, galvanized steel, stainless steel, or bronze. Sizes range from an 8 round to a 24 round and square hatch. Baier Hatches are the strongest hatch to ever hit the deck!
