Experienced, Equipped and Versatile Established in 1944, Stainless Polishing Company is a subsidiary, soon-to-be-consolidated into the General Grinding family. General Grinding is an experienced, well-equipped and versatile shop that offers surface grinding, CNC (computer numerical control) creep feed surface grinding and Blanchard grinding in addition to polishing. The company performs a high quantity of work for customers that make semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including vacuum chambers and wafer handling devices. Our clients also manufacture valves, food processing machinery, including stainless steel devices for cooking, peeling and storing raw and processed food; as well as linear motion devices, bearings, machine bases and ways for the motion control automation sector. General Grinding, and by extension, Stainless Polishing Company, serves a market that extends south from the state of Washington to the border of Mexico and as far east as Colorado.
