Pepperl+Fuchs has been in existence since 1945. In 1958 the company presented the first inductive proximity switch to the world. The Factory Automation Division is responsible for industrial sensor and communication systems in the manufacturing industry. The product spectrum includes inductive, capacitive, photoelectric and ultrasonic proximity sensors as well as intelligent sensor, identification and fieldbus systems. The Process Automation Division is the leading provider of intrinsically safe components in the process industry. The comprehensive product line consists of traditional isolator modules, Remote Process Interface and I.S. Remote Process Interface. Pepperl+Fuchs' level control sensors and purging/pressurization systems complete the product line.
