Abbeon’s open frame duct heaters are designed to heat large volumes of air in ducts. The open design provides very low pressure drops across the heaters. Low static pressure allows use of smaller and more economical blowers since there is little restriction of air flow. The heaters themselves are inherently efficient since circuits are exposed directly to air flow. Heat transfer from wire to air is direct and immediate. As a result, these heaters give their heat readily to the air while remaining cool themselves which affords long life. Fast warm-up and cool-down times are excellent advantages in these very rugged, efficient air heaters.
