Pro-FIBERs were developed by our state-of-the-art research centre to be a secondary reinfor cement for concrete, mortar, stucco and other cement-based products. The surfaces of Pro-FIBERs give excellent adherence to cement paste and do not degrade in the alkaline environment of the concrete. The most common and obvious form of concrete deterioration is cracking. Pro-FIBERs reduce plastic shrinkage and settlement cracks by increasing tensile strain capacity and restrain crack growth in all directions. More over, they eliminate the damaging effects of water and other harmful fluids by penetration through the craks.
