Synbra Technology is specialised in the manufacture of EPS beads, PS Compounds and is the largest EPS recycler in Western Europe. As part of the Synbra Group most EPS bead customers are internal , but some EPS grades are supplied to other companies. Our Styrex EPS beads are produced in Regular and Flame retardant grades. Latest development from Synbra Technology is a particle foam based on PLA, called BioFoam. Together with Purac we have developed a biodegradable foam, with properties comparable to EPS. Shock® beads are a European answer to allow low VOC production of buffer material used for multiuse packaging and is a replacement for high VOC refrigerated materials and is a direct alternative for EPP. Xire® , the incombustible composite of EPS and expanded glass, was developed and is made by us. Customers for PS compounds and PS foil are found worldwide. GPPS, LIPS, MIPS and HIPS grades in the manufacture of shoe-sole, picture frames, CD-case injection moulding and thermoforming.
