Cooknell Optronics supplies major customers such as Bookham Technology, Pi Photonics,Covega Corporation and Confluent Photonics with specialised fibre tails. As well as generic, (FC, SC, ST, LC, FSMA and angled variants) patchcords and pigtails which we supply to a variety of customers, our special products division produces fibre tails in ribbon, PM and 3M Volition Fibre. Our contract manufacturing division works for a variety of customers, many not associated with telecommunications. We design, and produce, within the Group much of the equipment used to produce specialised fibre tails. This enables us to react quickly to changes in customer preferences and to produce "one offs", prototypes and limited production runs.
