Silvaperl is the leading manufacturer and distributor of a range of Lightweight Aggregates and Fillers to various forms of Industry. Expanded Clay has a density from 350-500kg/m3. Manufactured special clay and expanded in a rotary kiln at an elevated temperature which transforms the clay into a range of ceramic granules. Brown in colour and supplied in various grades. Expanded Perlite is an ultra-lightweight aggregate and filler with a density range of 45-200kg/m3 this material is processed by passing the raw Perlite ore, through a furnace creating an air entrained glassy particle. White in colour this product is supplied in various grades. Exfoliated Vermiculite is an ultra-lightweight micaceous mineral with an exfoliated density of 60-120kg/m3. Passing the crude ore through a furnace chamber at a high temperature carries out the exfoliation process. Golden brown in colour with a concertina like structure. All of the above comply with the relevant BS and European standards.
