Company Overview

The Metal Drum Company, based in the North of England, are manufacturers of steel containers ranging in capacity from 5 to 230 litres.
We have been supplying metal drums to major manufacturers in the petro-chemical, resin and paint, dye stuff and construction industries for over 50 years. Our success is based on our continually adapting to our customers' needs and paying strict attention to quality control and customers' requirements. The materials and manufacture of the containers all conform to appropriate British and International standards. Most types of drums are certified to United Nations standards set for the transportation of hazardous goods.
The Company operates exacting quality systems. Its factories at Chilton and Hull are both approved in accordance with the standard BS EN ISO 9001.
The Company also maintains third party accreditation for the manufacture of 210 litre capacity food grade metal drums.
