Chemetall PLC provides surface treatment technology to the aerospace, automotive, road, rail, cold forming, glass and pipe coating industries and is part of Chemetall GmbH based in Germany.

Chemetall's products are marketed chiefly under the well-known GARDO, ARDROX, OXSILAN, SURFOS, BRITEMOR, CHECKMOR, FERROMOR, LUMOR and SUPRAMOR brand names. They include pre-treatment processes, cleaners and degreasers, anodising chemicals, paint and carbon removers, derusting and descaling products, non-destructive testing materials, non-destructive testing equipment, metal working fluids, additives and general maintenance products, sealants, corrosion preventatives and dewatering fluids, paint booth denaturants and booth coatings, purge solvents and transport cleaning products, such as chassis cleaners, traffic film removers, aircraft wash and polish products and toilet cleaners.
