Solving Ltd, a subsidiary of Ab Solving Oy of Finland, supplies manual and automated material handling equipment for the movement of heavy loads.

Wheels or air bearings are chosen to support the equipment, depending on the weights involved, frequency and distance of move and the degree of automation required. Full AGVs, for example, are more likely to be electrically-powered wheeled vehicles whereas loads over 30 tonnes are frequently moved on air skates or air film transporters.

Almost every industry has the potential to benefit from Solving's range of equipment and options, most of which are tailored to suit specific customer requirements.
Air skates and modules enable very heavy loads to be moved with very little effort, using air film technology to virtually eliminate friction. These are available ex-stock for loads of 10 to 500 tonnes.
