Convoi Exceptionnel has been in the business of escorting Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AIL) throughout the UK and Europe for thirty years. We have English, French and German speaking staff. We provide 1) Escort Vehicles / Pilot Cars - Fully conforming to the Highways Agency (HA) Code of Practice, insured and equipped for escorting abnormal loads. 2) Abnormal Load Permits / Abnormal Load Notifications - We make applications on your behalf to the relevant authorities in the UK and Europe. 3) Route Surveys / Route Planning - If you have to organise a special transport in a European country, we survey potential routes as necessary. We also advise clients on UK and European abnormal load regulation. We’re members of ALEN (Abnormal Load Escort Network) and the HTA (Heavy Transport Association).
