L4 Laser is a Leicester-based job shop, using Nd:Yag technology to provide laser processing services for a wide range of industries, including food, medical, automotive & general engineering. Specialising in precision cutting, drilling & welding of ferrous & non-ferrous metals, we are also able to cut many forms of ceramic and other non-metallic minerals.
Materials processed include:
Ferrous: mild, stainless, high carbon, spring & tool steels.
Non-ferrous: aluminium, titanium, brass, copper, nickel & various alloys. Precious metals: platinum, gold, silver. Non-metallic: ceramics, mica, etc.
We offer cost-effective precision laser profiling of flat sheet, pipe, tube and box section, as well as laser machining of supplied components and blanks. We particularly specialise in drilling/trepanning large arrays of small holes with minimal heat distortion. Our attention to detail and flexibility makes us ideal for research & development, including prototyping and small batch work.
