Additionally interfaces such as ODBC, XML, and Excel allow data to be transferred, to aid the design process and then export data for production process. EPLAN's cross discipline ability allows design of electrical control projects, with data being transferred and used in other packages such as EPLAN Fluid for pneumatic and hydraulic.
