In the middle of the 1990s, north village are of Dalian encouraged the farmers to reclaim the hillside land of the village, this will bring more plant cover for the hills as well as bring incomes for farmers and make full use of the hill land. In order to encourage the tree-planting farmers, the village leased the hill land to farmers for free as far as they grow apple trees on the there. Now we just signed a 30 years' ownership right of the land where we have grown apple trees for 10 years. We own more than 3 acres on the hillside and about 400 10-year apple trees, about 20 conker trees as well as more than 10 peach trees. The kind of the apple is called Guoguang, a common apple breed several years before in this area, but lost it's popularity nowadays.
