Initiated by one of the biggest newspapers in China and state government, Ta Kung now has a history of over 12 years. At present, with nearly 50, 000 square meters (20, 000 square meters in urban area) and over 1, 200 workers (700 hand workers in Dongguan branch included), Ta Kung has achieved its own scale merit. In overseas market, it takes the advantage of lower cost in Chinese labor force as well as flexibility among peers. Ta Kung currently owns 2 commercial web presses, 4 rotary presses, 12 four and five color sheet-fed offsets(mostly Heidelberg), 3 saddle stitching machine, 2 thermal binding line and 1 casebound line (see machine list for details). Therefore, we have capacity of 200, 000 paperback and hardcover books, 500, 000 saddle stitch books and 2 million newspapers per day.
